Special equipment:

Mason jar or other glass jar with a lid.

Ingredients:

• 60ml cultured water kefir

• 60 ml olive oil

• Zest of 1/2 lemon

• 1 lemon, juiced

• 2 cloves garlic, grated

• 1tsp dried oregano

• 1jalapeno pepper, finely chopped

• 1 tsp rosemary, finely chopped

• 1 tsp thyme, finely chopped • A pinch of salt and pepper

Instructions:

1. Place all ingredients into a mason jar and close it. Shake vigorously to incorporate it all together.

2. Place your chosen meat or veggies in a shallow baking dish or large sealable bag. Pour the marinade and turn to coat.

3. Marinate for a minimum of 2hours and cook to taste.
