Flourless Chocolate Cake

This Flourless Chocolate Cake is rich, decadent, and intense!  It is perfect for all the chocolate lovers out there.  This cake is moist, soft, and melt-in-your-mouth tasty!

Prep time: 20 minutes
Serves: 10 servings
Note: This cake is meant to be a little more dense and fudge-like than traditional cakes.  Feel free to add frosting on top!

Ingredients:

• 8 ounces melted Vegan chocolate

• 2/3 cup (160g) canned coconut cream

• ¾ cup (150g) coconut sugar

• 2/3 cup (80g) cornstarch

• 1 cup (96g) almond flour

• ½ cup (120g) Vegan milk

• 1 tsp vanilla

• ½ cup (60g) cocoa powder

• powdered sugar, to garnish

Directions:

  1. First, preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.  Heavily spray an 8 inch round cake pan with nonstick spray.

  2. In a bowl, combine melted chocolate, coconut cream, and coconut sugar.  Stir until completely smooth and creamy.

  3. In another mixing bowl, add cornstarch, almond flour, milk, vanilla, and cocoa powder.  Stir together.

  4. Then, pour in the melted chocolate mixture.  Stir together.

  5. Pour batter into the greased cake pan.

  6. Bake for 38 to 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with only moist crumbs.

  7. Remove from oven.  Allow the cake to cool for 30 minutes.  Sprinkle with powdered sugar, slice and serve!
